my silverware drawer. i was tired of the plasic tray since i have about 3 sets lol

my potato/burlap sack table runner.

pictures in an old window.

made my own laundry soap!

my homemade light fixture.

rope on cabinets instead of handles.

Fun!   I'm loving me some burlap too...I'm currently bidding on some on e-bay  -_-   Loving mason jars too....I put some thread I got at an estate sale, in my antique blue mason jar.

I make all my cleaners.   I haven't done the powder laundry soap...only the liquid...but I make powder dishwasher soap.   Borax, baking soda and lemon kool-aid (the kind with no sugar)..works fabulous...no chemicals sticking to the surfaces we eat off of :D  (I'll get a pic of my mason jar later...just tried to and camera battery dead :-()

eta...have you thought of painting that cabinet in your dining room, white?   It would pop against your paint color!   Just use a deglosser on it, or buy/make some chalk paint...no prep necessary.
