what color would you paint it? Im thinking this....

Here is my dining room.
It is currently green. Am thinking about painting it Edgecomb gray

 

I found this picture and liked the way the gray looked:

Here is the dining room currently. I have also taken pix from the family room (so you can see the blue in there) as well as the kitchen in the background which is a yellow...

 I think the grey & cloud white will look awesome with the blue!!! love that wood fire stove!!!!

 If you do the grey I suggest adding another color as accent with pillows.vases.picture frames. Grey can be such a depressing color especially in the winter.

Pillows? In the diningroom? on the chairs? Hmmm, that may be cute! I have brightly colored furniture... Painted hutch and sideboard? Do You think that might keep it "happy" enough? Or maybe ill have to see... Hmmm, am worried, i live in ny... But do have evergreens outside the big window....

I played around with your pictures and I think the gray needs to be a light blue or a light blue with a purple under tone. The gray tone is washed out against the dining table and light items in the room. So here are some color studies, excuse the poor photo's. but I think you can get some idea:Forgot to raise the window treatment.Raised the window treatment here.A mirror would like nice abve the console.Here's with the green paint as stripes.

I bought the paint yesterday... Lol... Been moore, not cheap... But i did have a coupon for 5.00 off the 40 bucks for the paint.l.l Lol.
I Am going to paint the back wall the gray... Inlike the idea of maybe stripes... So i may addnstripes after im done with the ine wall.
Thank you again for taking that time out! Very sweet....

I vote no to the blue to matchy- go with the grey if done right it will rock :)

I like the gray a lot! Though I do think white or a dark wood furniture scheme would compliment it better.
