My bedroom and living room have wood paneling....hate it....but we rent so I can't change it. Anyway, I desperately need help decorating, especially the bedroom. I can work on the living room after we get newer furniture. We just bought a sleigh bed and want to spruce up our old dressers, add curtains, get new lamps, etc. What colors and ideas do you suggest to spruce up our drab room with wood paneling and wood floors?

That's a tough one... Any pictures?

Maybe you could buy long curtains that extended past the window to brighten it up a bit... A white comforter one the bed...

This is a tough one!

Did you ever end up getting your spaces decorated? I missed your post first time around. Since you rent and are unable to paint, I would use fabric to hide as much of the paneling as possible. You can do this by hanging floor to ceiling drapes at any windows, extending the rod well beyond the window edges so more wall is covered. You could also do a backdrop wall of pure drapes for your bed, hanging multiple panels from corner to corner and floor to ceiling. I would be sure to get neutral drapes that go with anything so once you move, you can take them with you and they'll go with whatever you need them to (bedding, colors, furniture, etc.). You'll probably need to leave the rods. Going floor to ceiling requires 95 inch panels (for 8 ft. ceilings) which you usually have to order online. Stores usually only carry standard 84 inch panels. The 95 inchers are only a few dollars more.
