DD12 is getting a room makeover.

This is her bedding ^^^^

This is the color her headboard, dresser and vanity will be painted.  It's almost a perfect match for the medium blue flower in the bedding, although this picture doesn't really show that???  Her bedside table and bookshelf are white and will remain white. So 3 pieces of blue furniture and 2 pieces of white...

She has a reading chair in her room that I am having reupholtered in the celery green that's in the bedding.  What color do you suggest we paint her walls?  She wants a periwinkle color but I'm worried about it clashing with the blue furniture.  She also would like lavendar but again, I'm worried about it not looking good.  She will not consider white walls, LOL.  Any ideas ladies???

It's very dear to me, the issue of gay marriage.  Or, as I like to call it:  'marriage'.  You know, because I had lunch this afternoon, not gay lunch.  I parked my car, I didn't gay park it."

2 moms liked this

I think the very lightest periwinkle shade like the background in the dresser photo would look great. Even a very light celery green can work also.

I LOVE that blue!!! I think the room will look awesome!  White walls would be great, can you get a white with just a "hint" of the blue in it?

Since she likes lavendar, I would do a color match on the pink or purple flowers in the bedding for the walls. They are just as strong as the blues and greens and need to be repeated somewhere else within the room. Really cute bedding!

I think that the furniture may get lost against a periwinkle wall.  I love the idea of a light celery green or go strong with a deep pink.
