We have burgundy carpet in our living room. The dark green kitchen flooring buts up against it. (Kitchen also has burgundy countertops). Our couches are about 15 years old, are falling apart, and don't match the room.
I'm either going to slip cover or just buy new (haven't decided yet) but have no idea what color would look right. Help!! Pics in replies..(no my Christmas stuff isn't still up...it's just what I had available in my phone, LOL)..

I have a burgundy area rug (on purpose...that I actually chose to work with other existing elements in the room) and I used a gray leather sofa/loveseat with it. I am on my kindle so no pics but I'll try to add some tomorrow so you can see what the combination looks like. Best part...it wipes clean and the dog hair doesn't get stuck in it...just vacuums right up.

I think perhaps a dark blue would look nice for slip cover. Add in some beige and burgundy pillows.
Maybe a steel grey would look nice too. Not too lite like fog, but not dark grey like storm sky...
If u want to buy new, any solid color... Black, grey, dark blue, dark khaki would look nice.
