How do I repair the trim around the hallway door that was chipped somehow? I want to paint my dining room which is right there but need to fix this first as its on one of the dr walls. Also, there's more than this one place. Sigh TIA!

You could try using wood putty to fill in the chips/holes, but depending on the location of them you might just have to replace the piece of trim board.

Thanks! That's what I was thinking also. I'm hoping I dont have to replace it though.
