I know there are a few of you out there wanting to share pics of your master bath!

Unfortunately, for me, since I live in an old, old, old house, I don't have a masterbath - which is why I added "or other bathroom" for those of us lacking that luxury!

My Master Bathroom...

Seperate Garden tub & Shower....have a nice glass block window infront of tub

Double Vanity

Seperat water closet and Walk-In closet

Kids Bathroom...

They also have double vanity and shower/bath combo

I also have a half bath/guest bathroom but didn't take pics of it. It's an awkward shape...hard to take pics of it.

Rue1381~  I LOVE your bathroom!! Your colors and decorating style are fantastic.  I would love to duplicate that look in my masterbath.  Even the layout is fun!!  My hubby would love a walk in shower like yours!!

Mine still isn't finished being decorated:(

It's very large though...soaking tub, double sink, walk-in closet, and a toilet/shower in a separate enclosed space.  We also have a large window and skylight.

Aw shucks...thanks :)

My husband wanted the plumbing in our bathroom and the kids bath to be back to back because it saved us a few thousand during construction. I know most people think they need a tub but I knew I would never use it and I wasn't concerned about resale at the time because we plan on being here a looong time. I love our shower room.

P.S. My curtains are taffeta shower curtains. I just cut them in half and hung them up on hooks. The hooks covered the holes in the curtain at the top!

I think a lot of you have seen my bathrooms, but I will post again - feel free to skip me ;-)

Since I don't have a master, I will share all of my bathrooms:

This first one is my bathroom - I don't share (I am a middle child so I don't like to share):

This is my kids bathroom (my hubby shares with them):

And this is my laundry room/powder room:

Christine, what did you do to the walls in your powder room????  Is that some kind of paint technique or wall paper or what??? I love it!

This is the remodeled masterbath.  My DH built the frame around the mirror, tiled the floor.  Totally redone the shower.  Tore out a wall and added a wall.  Added the molding at the top of all the doorways.  We replaced all the lighting, towel bars, toilet paper holder and then I  redecorated all of it.

It is paint. I hate to admit it but it is sponged. The key to making sponged paint look nice (I hope I don't offend anyone) is to use colors in the same family. What I did was use the 3 colors on the paint swatch, used the middle color for the base, then sponged th light color, and then added the dark color paying attention to what I was doing to keep it balanced. I have had a lot of people ask if it is wallpaper even when they see it in person!
