This is the next thread in our "show us" series. I love seeing the different entry ways in different homes. I will post some pics of mine, I have a "vestibule", for those of you not familiar with old house terms, that is a small room before the main entrance to the home, I don't know if I have a good pic of that, I'll see if I can come up with one. Because I am in an old house, my entry way is a basically another room of our home, however, we don't use it because we always use the back door, which comes right into the kitchen.
OK. This is the only pic I have of ours.. It's down there.. In the center between the two floors. The chandelier is above the entry. Then there's stairs to continue upstairs in front of the red wall or go downstairs on the other side of the red wall.
This is looking into the foyer from my livingroom, the main staircase is to the right and you can see the front door leading to the vestibule on the right of the picture, there are pocket doors on the wall to the left of the Christmas tree and pocket doors that also can separate the foyer from the living room.
We have a "secret" storage space under the stairs, and you can kind of see the tissue paper wall treatment that I did on the main walls (the mustard walls).
I guess I don't have a that shows the vestibule, I will have to take one for the old house lovers because the outside front doors have beautiful stained glass. You can see on the top pic, the door from the foyer to the vestibule also has stained glass but it isn't as intricate as our front doors. If you look at the pic of the staircase, you can see the "fan light" at the turn of the stairs that shows an additional stained glass window. This is the only pic I have coming in from the vestibule:

Hello everyone my name is Tami and I thought sence well I hadn't been able to show much of my home I thought now sence my friend loaned me his disc for my digital camera I could do just that so here it goes, mind you my home isn't always this way but I just started setting up for Christmas so first I will show my entry way into my house and then some other pics that the group had asked about and wanted to see ok.
This is the entry way into my home not much to see and it's not a very big house, but it's big enough for the 3 of us plus a cat and dog which you see the cat in this photo that's boots lol.
Now that's my youngest son in this pic but he thought he needed to show off when mommy told him this was for her group online lol, but this is the entry and exit way from my kitchen to my dining area.
The white door is our back door to our house and the brown one is to our food pantry that's off the side of our kitchen. Hope you all liked the entrys as much as I loved showing them cuz unfortunately this was the first time I could show any pics of my homes and this house I am very proud of cuz I unfortunately the only thing DH did was put things up on the walls where I asked for them to go, but other than that the rest was my decorating, please feel free to let me know what you think and if any suggestion on what I should change or do different thanks so much
