Our sons name is Artem-We have taken to calling him Army as a nickname.  I am not sure how we should spell it.  What do you think.  Please explain your choices.

Arnie....Arny just doesn't look "right" to me.

I said Army. It's the simplest, most masculine way, I think, and the other way looked a lot like Arnie to me.

My husband says Army.  He thinks Armie is a bit feminine and needs to have a heart over the i.  I am concerned that Army is just to military.  But in the end he is a boy after all and that might not be a bad thing.
