On may 26 my son was born 14 weeks too early he was born at 8:31am. I went into the hospital around 1am with alot of bleeding I was cramping alittle bit but not much I did not know i was in labor. they did an ultrasound and they said that the baby was just kiking the cirvics and to find out his little leg was stuck in the cirvix. when the doctor finally came in it was 7am when he checked me i had dialated to 10. they did an emergency c-section. they flew him stright to savannah. we finnally got to stay at the Ronald McDonald House but we didnt stay for long. thomas was really good til that tuesday from that day on it went down hill. he had surgery on his intenestents that went well they had thought another problem was, they told us if he did live then thier could be complacations for life. later that night we had a call from the hospital that he was not going to survive after we call my dad what happened. when we got there they had a recliner sitting in front of his bed alittle while later the heart beat thing went dead they ask me if i wanted to just hold him awhile of course i said yes. then my dad came in and everyone held and some people from church came there to say some prayers and talk. when the nurses came back in they asked me if i wanted to give him a bath i said yes since it was he first and last bath that i would give him. the next day my ex and me went to the funeral home to tell them what to do and where. to this day i wonder what it would be like to have him around and what he would look like. would he look like his dad or would he look like myself. If this happened to you would you try to forget about it or would you still tell everyone that you have that one child plus your living ones. I dont know about anyone else but i still count my baby thomas as one of my own childern.
