Hello All,

I have been appointed game-master for an upcoming baby shower. I have no idea what kind of games are played at a baby shower. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have everyone guess the size of the mother to be belly's size. Everyone uses yarn and guesses what size her belly is, the closest one wins.

Place a bunch of baby items in a basket (bottle, pacifier, diaper, lotion, shampoo, nail clippers, etc) and walk it around for everyone to see. Then take the basket away and have everyone write down what they remember seeing.

Get little clothes pins, everyone gets one, when someone says the word baby whoever hears it first gets to take their clothes pin, the one with the most pins at the end wins.

Right now I am having trouble thinking of anymore but if I do I will let you know. Good luck and have fun!!

I have also heard to play baby bingo and you can look up www.babyshowerbingo.com and it will even let you print cards.  This is neat because it takes the pressure off the mom to be while she opens her gifts and the guests have to see if they have what she opens on their card to win.  I did this with my son's kindergarten teacher and the class gave her the shower and played this game.  It was a little bit trickier since they can't read and I had to paste pictures of gifts on the cards for them but they had fun looking and winning.  And if you use m&m's to cover the gifts opened on the card, the guests can eat them after they win or lose so everybody wins! YEA!
