I love to sew ... my grandma taught me when I was little. My 6yo expressed interest so I started teaching her to sew. She is addicted LOL she is always "can we sew today Mommy?"
She made her own trick or treat nag and was so proud on Halloween and told each house "Imade my own bag" it was so cute!

Even tho this is an old post it got my attention bcuz I am teaching my 6yo to sew. My mom taught me when I was 7. And yup my girlie is often asking, "mom can sew on the sewing machine? by myself?" My oldest son knows how to sew and the others also show interest.

That is awesome!!! I love to crochet, and have taught my kids (9 &8) how to do it. And my 9 yr. old just learned how to knit a hat!! They love it!!! and they are so proud to say they did it by themselves!
