Since I was like 12 and started watching Days I have had the name Isabella(Belle or Bella for short) in mind for a little girl. And now I am so annoyed that it is so popular. We will find out next month if this baby is a girl, which i am def. hoping for. Not only is the name so popular as is, Twilight is a HUGE HIT right now which makes it even worse (Even though I am a HUGE TWILIGHT FAN, I do not want people thinking I named my child after it). I think that if i change the name for these reasons i will be incredibly disappointed, because i've had my heart set on it, and DH does as well. What do you think?

I love the name. If I were to ever have another girl (which I'm not) lol I would have named it either Isabella or Madison. And I too love, love love the Twilight series, but I think down the road the name won't matter or be connected to that series.

I personally will not use a name if it is too common, but if you love it and would feel cheated by not using it, I think you should use it anyway. Have you considered Izzy for a different nickname, or is the nickname part and parcel of your love for it?

I def. want "Bella", I've actually considered just Bella Claire , so that people do not call her Izzy.

well I know this sounds strange but I named my daughter Aliesha Reann ( Alicia keys and Rihanna) I was going to name my daughter Brianna but my X-best friend was preg too (we planned our preg together and she named her daughter that so I just decided on Aliesha Reann. As you can see I spelled it different so no one would know thats why I named her that besides I think the names sound good together!
