Messy Mitts
Category: Youth
Come for a fun-filled morning with your child and enjoy hands-on entertainment. You and your child will experience such things as popular finger painting with puddin’, dirt diggin’, water play and other fun activities. Everyone will have an awesome time! Visit with other parents and let your child have fun making a mess without all the fuss.
Registrations are first come first served and class space is limited.
Ages: 2 – 4 yrs & Parent
Begins: March 18th 2009
When: Every Tuesday
Time: 10AM – 11AM

Tyke Hike
Category: Youth
Bring the kids and come hike at the nature center. Pre-schoolers and their parents will explore the grounds, learn about wildlife and enjoy hands-on nature activities. From puppets to story-telling to getting up-close and personal with live animals, the kids will learn about insects, spiders, birds, crabs, snakes, alligators and wildflowers. The nature center serves as the perfect venue to introduce young children to the wonders of nature.
Fee: FREE
Begins: March 11th – May 27th
Who: Parents & Children
When: Wednesdays
Time: 10AM – 11AM
Maximum: 40 Participants

Scrapbook Workshop
Have you wanted to learn how to make the perfect scrapbook for all of those priceless memories? Sign up for this fun-filled glimpse into making the scrapbook that all your friends and family will be talking about for years to come! This class will teach you the ins and outs of scrapbooking as well as introducing you to those people with the same interests as you. The next workshop will be held on May 16th beginning at 9:00 AM at the Baytown Community Center.

From Researching on the net Ive found these to be Free or Cheap... Before going to any of these you may want to call ahead of time to make sure they are still going on. We havent had time to do these yet but will be soon!  :)

Monday:

Baby Time: 10am Sterling Library

Evening Story Time: 6:15pm Sterling Library

Tuesday:

Natural Science: Free 2-6pm

Thursday:
Bounce USA: $5 instead of $8

Childrens Museum in Houston: Free 5-8pm

Toddler Time: 1030am Sterling Library

 I know it's been mentioned before but the water park at Rosiland Park is really fun, and now is the time to go.

Jenkins Park-- Maybe we where in luck but Dh, DD & I went out there to walk the trails & there is 2 big bridges at the park (to walk on dirt trails) the bridge to the far left had turles in the water. I thought it was pretty cool & DD loved seeing them (2.5)
