My son Braylen was born 2 days short of 26 weeks, he weighed 1lb 14oz and was in the NICU in Denver, CO for 3 months and 4 days. We brought him home on OCtober 24th 6 days short of his due date. He has had a rough start to life, he had bilateral pnumonia, bilateral hernia repair, blood transfusion, apnea and bradys (more than I could ever count) He had severe ROP in both eyes. Thank the good lord he is doing wonderful, his eyes see 20/20 and his hearing is perfect. He is now 8 months old and where hes supposed to be for his adjusted age with a few set backs because of his severe reflux. Other than that he is my little miracle, and I would love to hear some other stories from micro preemie moms that are out there. If your a micro preemie mommmy that has a miracle please share your story. I think we all need to be reassured that we are not alone in this.
