These guidelines will be update as needed

1. Threatening behavior or comments will not be tolerated. This group is intended to be fun not intimidating.  This includes insulting members whether you use their screen names or not...generally insulting comments will be viewed as attacks.
   
2. I work very hard to keep this group current and active...please do not copy and paste posts with set pics etc into other groups. I don't take their threads and I expect the same courtesy in return. I understand that we will often have the same pics and info but it is obvious when it was taken from the another group. PIOGS are allowed however - the exception being if you either ask me first or give credit to getting the post from this group =)
   
3. Likewise do not copy and paste from other cafemom groups in to this group unless you have permission from the group owner or admins. PIOGS are allowed however
4. I know it is a pain to check all of the posts to see if what you are posting is already up and I don't expect you to do that but PLEASE check to see if the same info has been posted in the past couple of days before you post "news". There are 2 easy ways to do this.... Click "view all" at the bottom of the page and check the thread titles labeled "new" - a little icon tells you what is new since your last log in click "search posts" on the left side of the page and do a quick search for what you want to post (example "trailer") I do check myself before posting things so I know it only takes a minute. I do this in all of my groups and in groups own/run by others as well out of courtesy as well..
5. Be respectful of each other. I wholeheartedly welcome both Team Edward and Team Jacob fans or even people who cannot stand Twilight at all but just love SM or her other work but when stating your opposing views to another member please do so in an uninsulting way. This means that if someone says that they are Team wolf than you can ask why and say that you are team vampire but don't say "what is wrong with you? The dogs are stupid!" or anything of the sort. You may of course defend "your man" in a polite way as well =) Play nice.  (this includes stooping to name calling...like if Edward were here calling the wolves dogs or Jake were here calling the vamps leeches I would reprimand them - we are grown ups, let's try to remember that when choosing our words)
6. Posts should be related to SM or Twilight or even writing related in some way...exceptions can be made but please ask first before posting advertising for things that have nothing to do with the group topic
7. trying to cause or actually causing drama can and will get you removed from the group.  We are talking about books and movies not anything controversial.
8. Name calling is not allowed and can get you removed
9. Warnings are not always issued before removal...if you are being mean to other members expect to get kicked out.
10. Sister groups of ours may be promoted here but please do not promote Twilight groups not affiliated with us here unless you ask first. Also please do not promote competing websites unless you get permission first.  We work hard to keep our group so successful and do not want to 'give" our members away. Your posts will be deleted.
11. Please site your sources when you post news articles.
    
12. Sorry but this is not the place for political posts...all will be deleted - ok this now includes political siggies.  No political siggies allowed!
13. After the release of something new, be it a book, or movie please spoiler tag your posts for one month following the release so you will not spoil those that do not wish to see it. We have a sister group for discussing all things spoiler-y without the need for tags, you can discuss freely there as well. 
14. You may have swearing and adult content in your threads and replies but we ask that you please label it as *adult language* or *adult content*.  This is in consideration of all of our many members who may not want to be exposed to those things.  If an admin asks you to add a warning for content please do so.  We may ask you to add a label even if you do not have foul language but a reply does.  We are not angry at anyone when we ask we are just trying to keep the group fun for everyone =)  See this thread for more info on this http://www.cafemom.com/group/34193/boards/read/7125348/FYI_reguarding_adult_language_and_content_in_this_group
15. Do not advertise in this group without permisson.  Most of the time I will say yes but please ask first...this includes other cafemom groups.
