I do not have a high-efficiency washer.  I had someone, that does have a HE,  ask me about the amount for the fabric softener.  Any help?

It doesn't matter how much laundry softner you use in a HE washer.  My washer has a measuring cup right inside the washer where you put in the laundry softner so I am not sure what amount.  But I would follow the guidelines on either the laundry softner or for her specific washer.
