Here are some recommended seats that harness up to 40lbs.
1--Cosco Scenera-- http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5716972 Also comes in a girls cover, The Daisy Daze. This seat will RF to 35lbs and FF to 40lbs. This seat is a GREAT seat, but has very little to no padding. Very easy install. These seats are usually distributed at car seat checks.
2--Safety 1st Uptown-- http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5515915 This seat will RF to 35lbs and FF to 40lbs. This seat is VERY well padded and is slightly taller than the Scenera. It has an infant headrest.
3--Britax Diplomat-- www.britaxusa.com This is a new seat from Britax. It will RF to 35lbs and FF to 40lbs. It has the True Side Impact Protection which is GREAT to protect your little on in side impact crashes.
