Hello fellow EMS Mamas. Im jsut wondering why you picked this Filed to work in.

Here is my reasson.

When i was 16 i seen a car wreck happen right in front of me we lived 30 mins from the nearest hospital eather way. and it is a long strech of road with no houses near by. Everyone seemed to be ok besides the Dead guy in the passanger seat and the young girl in the back pasanger seat where the truck had taken the most force of the crash. I called 911 and then waited there and did CPR on the little girl because she was not breathing. At that time i was a lifegaurd. when the ambulance got there the had to fly her out because she was critical. after that day i know that this is what i wanted to do.

Anyways share why you wanted to me in EMS.

I've never liked desk jobs where you just sit in one spot. But I took a cpr class for college credit loved and and jumped in with both feet. Im now working on a private service and hoping to start on my medic in 2011, I'm giving myself sometime after the baby is born before I become a student again lol.
