I just had my son 10 days ago and my vision has been blurry since I left the hospital 6 days ago, I don't remember if it was blurry before then but it is now.  Anyone else have/had this problem? does it go away?  The majority of the time I feel like im in a dream-like state of mind, kind of like i can't think strait.

First let me say congrats on your delivery.  Also, I say call your doctor and let them know what is going on with you.  It could be serious or it could be nothing but you wanna be sure just in case.  After having Pre-e and or HELLP it is very important to keep in touch with your doc and make sure they know everything that is happening to make sure your body heals and you can get back to good health asap!!  Good luck and make sure you keep in touch with your doc.  I can't stress that enough.  Take care

you didnt mention if you had pre-e or hellp wit this pregnancy.  are you currently on medication for anything??  it could be a side effect.  i know after i had my first son, i had to go back to the ob/gyn every few days to check my BP and other vitals. (it was very time consuming, i had 2 apointments each week until my baby was 5 months old)  when is your next visit?  you could have something going on,i would call and let them know.  gl

I had a very severe case of HELLP on Feb7 09 and I had retinal hemorrages in each eye and some decreased vision. Being a licensed Optician for 20 yrs I knew an MD retinal specialist and he checked me right away. He said they will go away but can be up to 6-8 months. Very very slowly it will resolve itself. Send me a message if you want to chat about it. I will say after 2 months now mine is a little better.

Talk soon,

Sandie
