I posted this on a group (Creative Photography) I'm pretty sure that's the exact name (check my profile if you want to sign up with them) It's a pretty cool group and I thought you all might like the poem(esque) that I wrote there - here's a copy/paste of my work:

O.K. I'm not a poet so mine is more like "Spoken Word" or whatever form allows for off-beat expression

WATCHING YOUR FATHER

I do not claim to understand

You bonding with your father

I only know that you demand

The love he has to offer



I do not take offense when you

Are distinctively inclined

To long for your father's embrace

It's somehow different than mine



I did not have a father

So I do not claim to know

How deep your father's love can reach

I only watch it grow



I did not think time could stand still

Until I heard you sigh

And nestled in your father's neck

I also see it  f l y . . .
