Michal

I am just about ready to sign my son up for driving lessons.

They are extremely expensive.

Any comments about driving Aspie.

I refuse to teach him how to drive

When did you learn to drive?

So Fl is filled with nutty drivers.

Should I force him to take the lessons or wait until he is ready and ask? (He just shows little interest in learning) ( He will be 18 at the end of August)

The man my friend recommended shows up with a American/ Israeli flag on his hat,  a retired Jewish man from New Jersey with the patient of a Saint (LOL)...

    that is wonderful news!
I'm so happy that you finally got the right driving instructor...
It is just so important; I still remember the one I had- he was one of a kind really.
He had a great sense of humor( one that I understood. LOL) and lots of patience oh and he kind of " hit on me". Not that I think it's ok for a man to hit on a 16 yo girl, but In this case, I think it was all part of his way of joking around, and it definitly made me learn faster. In any case I was a good driver!

I wish your son all the best and much luck! I'm sure he'll drive wonderfully in no time.

    Michal
