This is a community for non Mormon parents that are raising children in Utah or surrounding states.

Is being a non Mormon really such a big deal in Utah?-

It is a big deal here and it isnt. Mormons LIVE their religion they are involved everyday they have meetings, groups, young men's and woman's, and home teachings. They share these things with there friends and our other neighbors whom they are close friends with. We know we will never "hang out" its not because we don't like each other we just lead different lives.

A group like this is for us to meet other moms whom we can make close friends with. Other moms who have the time to meet and "hang out".

There is nothing wrong with Mormons. But we are a Minority here and its nice to talk to others going though what you are going though.

Also Many of us have LDS family or in laws and sometimes that can be frustrating and we need to vent or just tell funny stories about it.

This is a community for parents to discuss issues that involve living in a state with such a predominate religion. It does not matter what religion you are, we will not be discriminating here!
