Ludicrous Debate
How do they get deer to cross at those yellow "deer crossing" signs?

by runawaybunny on Aug. 16, 2008 at 7:37 PMIt's in the "How to be a deer" handbook. All deer get one at birth. ![]() |

by stefanierios on Aug. 17, 2008 at 12:48 AMThey don't. They cross where it's really dark and there's lights off in the distance so you can't see them crossing. Then they cause $1400 worth of damage to your $3000 car. |

by cavansmom on Aug. 17, 2008 at 9:49 AMIs it weird that I only see deer in the road during hunting season? My bf thinks I'm full of it.. But I just don't ever see them during the summer and never have... |

by stefanierios on Aug. 20, 2008 at 6:17 PMNo, you're not crazy. It just so happens that hunting season and mating season are at the same time, so the ones you see in the road are the bucks chasing tail (doe ass). I live in rural NC, and I see them year round, but the majority during mating season - in the fall mainly in November. Quoting cavansmom: |
