Do you really put them on "one leg at a time" like the saying goes? I don't. I sit on the bed and put both legs through at the same time. Then, a quick up, zip, and button. I'm ready to go.

wow, that's talent right there.   I can't do two legs at once.  I'm a one leg at the time chick.

I put them on one leg at a time.  I'm not walking back over to the bed just to sit down to put my pants on.  I put my socks on first, so as each foot comes out the jeans' leg, I shove it in my shoe.  I feel the whole process takes about the time it would take me to walk back to the bed to put them on.

Both legs at once. I don't have the co-ordination to put my pants on standing up before I've had a cup of coffee.

Incidentally, The both legs at once method also works well for dressing the baby. My husband tries to dress her one leg at a time. While he's working on the second leg she always squirms out of the first. It takes him about 20 minutes to dress her. But he's too stubborn to admit both legs at once is better.

socks on first, then one leg at a time.  feet must be dry from the shower, or they get stuck up in the jeans.  socks further the easy transition through the pant legs.  if i ever, ever put my jeans on before my socks, though, it's going to be a bad day for me.

wow, i really have issues.

I put my socks on first when they are knee high socks. Otherwise, it's too hard to get them all the way to my knees.

oh yes, i do this all the time.  i get angry if i don't.  only problem with this method though, is that i tend to ALWAYS get walked in on while in the process of putting them on..you know, nekkid, pastey butt in air and bent over.  startled, i'll fall to the cold ground.  never fails.

One leg at a time but occasionally I'll vary ti and do both legs. Not sure why, it has something to do with the type of pants. I'm on auto-pilot before I've had my coffee.
