I know it's been a while since anyone posted but I wanted to open this back up.

I'm not quite sure that billionaire status is possible for me in particular but millionaire status is definitely possible.  I just wanted to get some feedback from you guys on ways that you think being a millionaire is possible.  I know that investing and saving can go a long way but can't really get you to that type of status unless you are able to invest a lot of money up front.  Have any of you guys thought about inventing something or getting into some type of trade that would enable this type of status.  

Would love to hear back from you and your thoughts on this subject.  Would also love to hear your thoughts on whose career motivates you the most.  The list below gives a run down of the top 20 billionaires in the world.  Have you ever studied these guys in length and do you know who more that just a couple of them are?
