I had my first baby in November-3 weeks early. I am starting back to work full-time tomorrow and she will be going to an in-home daycare. I'm having problems with her napping during the day. I believe her sleep is extremely important and I want to get into a good napping routine. When she does nap during the day it is very quick. On a good day she may take a nap for 1 hour. She sleeps great during the night-almost making it the whole night without waking up!
So I am not sure about the transition to daycare and her napping. Any advice?
my son was having trouble napping as well. A friend got me the 'Baby whisperer' books and they helped immensley. It takes some work-following her 'guidlines' but now my son has 2 naps every day lasting 1-3 hours each--a huge improvement to where we were a couple months ago....hope this helps!
I had the same problem when my DD started home daycare she was not on a nap schedule yet after a week of being at daycare she was on a nap routine. The only time her nap times are a little diffrent is on the weekends when she is home with me but she has gotten a lot better..
