I don't know how many of you are writing books, but I got to go to the Romantic Times 2011 Convention in Los Angeles last week. Writer's and publishers of romance, paranormal, fantasy, mainstream....pretty much all of it, were there to answer questions, teach classes, and network.

I attended three workshops one on writing sex scenes, one on writing for Harlequin, and one on writing a synopsis. I came home inspired and very motivated.

Anyway, for any of you interested I wrote about the synopsis workshop at

Fact to Fiction is a blog I'm working on with writer Elley Franco. We are both published non-fiction writer's who are now working on fiction, and we try to share what we learned writing non-fiction, how it relates to our fiction, and the journey from non-fiction writing to fiction writing. Hope you'll visit us there.

I also have my own blog Tari's Thread at

http://taristhread.wordpress.com/

I write about writing, but also other adventures in my life.

Hope you guys will check them out.

Tari
