I recently started a journal for talking to my family, and it seems to read likea book (even my therapist says so) I deffinately want 1 printed for them, but how realistic would it be to turn it into a fully published book, and where would I go? It's about RL expierieces of mothers w/ mental illness, but for everyone (kinda like "Walking on Eggshells").
Did I read your post correctly? You only want one copy printed. That's something you could easily do yourself with the help of a print shop.
If you want in publication for sale, you'll need to do the following:
- Finish the manuscript.
- Have it edited by a professional for grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, flow, ect.
- Query an agent.
- Wait.
- Expect numerous rejections before you get a yes.
- Send sample chapters and any other info the agent requests.
- Wait again.
