my hubby has the skin lupus it's bad but not as bad as the kind a women gethe has a rash on his face chest and back and if he gets a cut after it goes away the lupus attacks the scar heat irritates it and makes it flare up and stress doesn't help eather he was going to a dermatologist and they would give him a cream but it wouldn't help most of the time, and my question was what type of Dr. is it that he should be going to? the dermatologist didn't seem to be helping. any information would be very helpful thank you very much.

He already has a rheumatologist right? Ask that doc and maybe the doc can refer your hubby to someone. I would think a dermatologist would deal with that...idk...maybe try going to a different dermatologist, one that knows about Lupus. Goodluck and hopefully your husband can find some relief
