Hi, my name is Connie, I am 43, a farmers wife, have two kids, son that is 12 and a daughter that is 6.  I got Officially diagnosed with Lupus in 2008, and since we have no insurance, I dont go to the doctor unless I have to:)  Kind of self medicate with herbal treatment etc.  but have to go for the skin rashes etc.  I can deal with the problems but the one thing i cannot deal with mentally is the severe Fatigue.  When you just cant "go" and there is sooo much to do:)

Hope to learn from others here , thanks!

Nice to meet you! I too understand work being demanding .....I am a stay at home mom with 4 kids! My husband works long hours so we even tease im basically a single parent for the child care! Its a lot and energy is definitely a fight. I find a low sugar diet helps and vitimins and a good nights sleep. but there are days where I feel like someone drugged me! it is what it is and I know when I have that day or those days I need to slow down! Take care of yoursefl b/c no one else will!!!

I know the feeling.  I am a single working mom.  If it wasn't for my parents I am living with now I wouldnt be able to afford to work with all the bills and child care.  I know for me on days I am so drained it is hard to get up and moving.  I know I have spent yrs doing meditation and vizualaztion to help me deal with my pain and fatuige.  I spend at least some time each day in a quiet place and do my deep breathing with my meditation and it helps a great deal for me.  I use vizualations now when I get real bad.  I know when I ate an organic diet it helped a ton.  I wish you the best and keep your chin up.  You are not alone sweetie.
