As part of building and marketing our businesses we always encourage you to build relationships.  We say it over and over again in our posts.

Today as I was going about my "business" I ran into a Chinese Proverb that goes well with building relationships and I immediately thought of sharing it with our group.

All the flowers of all the tomorrows
are in the seeds of today and yesterday.

I recently attended an online marketing seminar and picked up this wonderful bit of advice. Your business growth cannot happen any faster then your personal growth. I think that this says a lot for business builder. You need to make sure that you are developing friendships and relationships, Not just looking for business contacts.

I think that the best way to build a relationship is to act first by giving something first.  That whole concept of "I don't want to know you until I know what you can do for me" is so true.  No one wants a relationship with a taker....you have to be a giver in your business.
