Guerilla Marketing for Moms with Home based businesses - Part II

Myra Roldan of Beautiful Diva has so generously allowed us to post her articles here.  We hope as the group grows to be able to do some mini training sessions with her.  Please stop by and thank her for these great articles:  BeautifulDiva

Part II: SETTING UP YOUR MARKETING CALENDAR

Ok, so now you have your marketing plan written down in "black and white" , now it's time to set up your Guerilla Marketing Calendar.  This is an important step because it will help you know when you are doing your marketing. Your calendar will help avoid emergencies, help you in your planning and put you in control.

You marketing calendar is very simplistic in nature.  It is comprised of 4 colums and 12 rows.

On the first colum heading, will be called "Month" , thus the 12 rows.  Under the month colum you will write label each row with a calendar month, Jan - Dec..

Your second colum, will be called "Thrust", your thrust is what will propel your marketing for that month.  It can be a sales, a promotion, a new product, a freebie - here is here you will list it.

Your third colum, will be called "Media", this is the media you will use to market your thrust.  It can normally be like an ad in a paper, etc. but we are going to concentrate on the FREE type of marketing first.

For your fourth colum, we'll label that "Grade", here is where you will need to turn into a teacher or professor and give your marketing efforts for the month a letter grade based on profits and response.

I've attached a blank copy of my Guerilla Marketing Calendar.

I used to with our corporation Joyce,  but I just calendar trainings and followups in our CEM Prospector now...

What I do that's really helped is placing builders under builders, so that more experienced builder can help us support the new person with ways THEY succeeded... because it's THEIR volume too!  They also have a vested interest in helping that person grow!  Works like a charm!!
