The couple that share a belief in Jesus also shares the peace of Jesus-- and the mystery of that peace. On the surface such a couple may not seem to have anything but trouble,yet they are happy and content,willing to share the little they do have. As Jesus told His disciples,He does not give as the world gives,but He does give peace.
Unbelievers who see such a couple are mystified. It makes no sense to them how,lacking in material possessions, two people can be at peace and living full, happy lives. For unbelievers the mystery will never be solved. But for Christians there is no secret to such a couple's happiness.
Father,sometimes the simplest gifts are too complex to comprehend. Whenever possible,help us share the secret of our contentment with those who do not understand Your peace and blessings.
Father God, I thank you so much for your peace. I know I don't have the things that some may have that are material things.
I am thankful for the things that I do have and thankful that the things that I do have I am willing to share.
Thank you Father for blessing me with a wonderful husband who loves as I love and who gives as I give from the peace you have given us.
We thank you that we are content in what you have blessed us with. We thank you for our children though not perfect they are loving and kind to others.
We thank you that you placed your peace in our hearts before we had children that we are able to bring them up in peace so that they know that it is your peace that they should seek and not that of the world.
I love you in Jesus name always I give you thanks,praise,worship and prayer amen.
