2 Corinthians 5 (NIV)
Our Heavenly Dwelling
6.Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord.
7.We live by faith, not by sight.
8.We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
9.So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.
10.For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
The Ministry of Reconciliation
16.So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
17.Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
18.All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
19.that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
20.We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.
21.God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Apply The Truth:
1.Do you sense God calling you to a special assignment? If so,describe what you believe that assignment to be?
2. have you experience firsthand Gods reconciliation through faith? If so briefly write your testimony of faith in such a way you can share with others.
If not write a letter to God asking him to reveal himself to you and show you how to be reconciled to Him ( you can share your testimony later her in this post when you do.
God Bless and please keep coming back to study,I will be here for you even though I have some problem but I love to study with others.

I Corinthians 5:10 jumped out there for me. I've seen so much here lately and it makes me so sad that some of the people I know will stand before the judgement of God Himself. And it's not going to be pretty either. Sometimes I just don't understand people that call theirself Christians and act the way they do. But that's between them and God and they will have to pay for it dearly.
God Bless U Sister ♥
The one thing that has always been the first thing I noticed in this passage is that it says to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. You always hear people say whats going to happen when we are no long here. Well I think it's to be with the Lord and I thinks it's to be with the Lord you serve. This is what I think.
Going on to the next question is that our earthly body is full of pains and will grow old and will most likely fail us in some kind of way but our heavenly body will be free from those things. How I long for that heavenly body.
Question #3 living by faith is knowing without seeing that God is who he say he is,is knowing that what he says about you is true before you even become the person he knows you are that you don't even know.
It's so much more then that but that is my short version.
#4The way we live will be how we are judge if you give little you will receive little if you live like hell then thats where you will end sorry so blunt:) but it was the short answer once more.
.And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.( I think the verse speaks for itself.)
God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
Questions:
1. Unpon reading this chapter what is the first thing that jumped out to you.
That in Christ,we are a new creation and because of His death,we have an opportunity to be reconciled to Him having eternal salvation.
2.Compare and contrast of our earthly and Heavenly bodies(1-5)
Our earthly bodies are full of burdens, imperfections, pain, and sufferings. They can be destroyed and we cannot be with the Lord as long as our soul dwells here..Our heavenly bodies are eternal, and we can be present with the Lord with no pain or strife.
3. What does it mean to live by faith and not by sight?(6-10)
Mostly,we cannot physically see The Lord. While many demand to be able to "see" proof of His existance and His works,He asks that we trust Him to be as He says He is and though we cannot see Him,we should believe that He is and what He says and does,in fact will come to pass.
4.What difference should this judgment make in the way we live now?
We need to stop having a worldly outlook and thought pattern and begin to retain a righteous outlook as He commands.
5.How did knowing that he would be judge one day motivate Paul? (11-15)
Knowing that his deeds were going to be judged one day and he would become accountable,he decided to begin serving the purpose God intended for him, which was to help others understand how to be reconciled to Him for eternal salvation.
6.Why did Christ die according to verse 15?
He died,as a result of our sinful nature so that we can become reconciled to Him.
7.What motivationdid Paul cite for being an ambassador for Christ? (16-21)
eternal life in His righteous presence
