Hello to all and thank you Prisma for inviting me. I just finishe a Bible study at church called Fearless. The next study dosn't start until later in Janary, so I am glad to have a chance to study with others. God has shown me that I need to spend more tme studying his word. I do devotions for a few groups, but I need to study too. I am a grandmother to 2 boys and a grandmother-in-love to 1 girl. I am on disability and home most of the time. I am currently raising my 9 year old grandson who will be 10 in 2 weeks. I like needlework hobbies ad reading. I also like to write poetry, mainly abou nature, animals and God.

Hello Linda
Thank you so much for your support and sharing. We know that everyone is busy for the holidays. We will check in at least 2x a week on the studies. But please post as the Spirit leads you.
Finally I think fear will be an awesome topical studies. I will pass this on to Charlie and see what the other sisters say and by God's grace we should be back in full force next week.
Love and Blessings

Hi , I'm Mona, I was a member a long while back. hw long I am not sure. i can't remember if I left the group before my daughters death or after. I was very angry for a while because there was no one I could be angry with so I set my anger on the world and I guess everyone in it. see her husband killed her and then himself. but , I have come to realize that anger was not healthy. I knew this all along. I worry about her 2 small children more then i do myself. anyway this is not what i had intended to write this morning.
A couple weeks ago some one made the statement that it was too early in the year to have the Christmas spirit. My thougths and prayers have been on this continually since. My heart tells me we should have the Christmas spirit year round for I feel the Christmas spirit is the gift of giving love one to another. I feel that this is the perfect time as anytime should be to have a study on this subject.
I am a mother of 8 grandmother to 20 and when daughter gets married I will have 3 more grandchildren. Please keep all of us in your prayers.Especially my childrens sould condition. I truely fear they do not have the Lord in there life .
Thank you so much,
And may God bless you all continuely,
Mona
Hello Mona,
Welcome back to the group. I am so very sorry to hear about your loss and I know you are going through a horrible experience. In God there is rest, hope, peace, and all you need to make it from day to day, faith to faith and glory to glory. You are a blessing to your children and grandchildren. Your prayers for your family are honored and I stand in agreement with you for salvation, healing, and prosperity for you and your family.
Christmas is the spirit of giving; mainly LOVE. John 3:16 says: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jesus' Birth is also prophecied in Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
CHRISTmas celebrates His birth and LOVE was God's motivation for giving His Son; so Love should be the motivation for giving of oneself, time, money, and resources all for the glory of God. I agree that the spirit of CHRISTmas should be done all year round.
Love sounds like an awesome topic, what do you think Mona?
