Car Accidents

I'll kick this group off with my last very vivid dream, which I personally feel may be a precognitive dream (it's telling me of an event to happen). I'll explain why at the end.

The beginning I do not see clearly, but I know it starts out as someone telling a story of an event that has already happened. In a flash I am in the place of a family member (felt like a daughter) still greaving over an accident that's happened very recently involving our parents. I'm upset, and consoling my brother. We feel bad because we had made demands of the mother figure, and never got the chance to appologise. About a year had past, and items needed to be sorted. I say to the brother "we have to do this, come on I'll do it with you".

The view point changes again, and I'm back to being told the story instead of being part of it. The people that are telling it are my grandparents like the accident had happend to them, with my mom listening in. While I never clearly hear this part of the story, I know that my grandmother had been hurt badly and even unconcious for awhile. It seemed alright to talk about it now, since everyone was just fine and had recovered years ago.

The story goes on, and we are standing at a farm house I don't recognize. It's apparently belongs to a friend of my grandparents. I don't know why we are there. My grandpa continues with the story of this accident, saying it wasn't far from there and he'd show me where it happened. I got in the truck with him, and we drove down a long path and out into a busy city road. I see a sign that says "Diamond Road" and ask if that's where it happened, because it's where a lot of accidents happen. He says no, and points in the other direction. He tells me "It was 2 miles from Sugar Grove Cemetary, and a woman pulled out in front of me".

This is not the first time I've had car related dreams. The last one I had was very coded, and when I "put it all together" I thought it was me who was going to be in a car accident. About a week or two later, a friend of mine in town was killed in an accident in the location I was sure it was going to happen to me. That triggered other dreams with me in the line of danger when it happened to others.

Now as far as this dream goes......

My grandparents are still very much alive. Before I was born there WAS an accident with my grandma and she WAS unconcious. She was fine though, and still is fine. I've heard the story a million times, mostly because the wrecked car sat at their farm for years.

Sugar Grove cemetary is near here. When I woke up, I thought it was the one my friend is burried at, but it's not. It's not far from it though. I looked it up on MapQuest, and come to find out about 2 miles from that particular cemetary mentioned in my dream was where I put my car in the ditch in high school. I wasn't hurt, and neither was the car. Just a stupid kid who lost control on the ice.

Diamond road - not sure of the significants to this, but there is a "Diamond Trail Road" just outside of town. That was immediately what I thought of when I woke up.

Now for the reference of someone "pulling out in front of them", well this is where it gets weird. I had this dream on Sunday morning, just before going out to eat with my grandparents. Puzzled by it all, I asked my grandpa first thing if "2miles from sugar grove" meant anything to him. Well no, he didn't even know what the cemetary was (of course not, that was MY part of the dream and MY accident). But before I really dove too deep in the dream, he's reminded of an accident that happened before I was born. THIS story I've never heard before, and he starts out saying "This woman pulled out in front of us". It was like he was telling me the story like he did in the dream. Only there's a detail I didn't catch in the dream - there was another couple with my grandparents. Very close friends in fact, and the husband actually passed away several years ago. The woman is still alive.

My grandma goes on to tell me she heard from the woman (close friend) the other day, who told my grandma she had a dream her brother came to her and was listing off the order in which her and her siblings would die. The ones he listed before her were already dead, so she was convinced she was next.

My grandma has dreams just like I do, and has seen things before they happened (such as when I told her I was pregnant with my second kid, she told me she had a dream she was lecuring me about not taking birth control since I had just told her I was pregnant in the dream). She also had a dream a few days before I did about a gold car that almost hit her, but she just missed it.

The fact this dream was three car accidents rolled into one makes me wonder if in fact there will be an accident. Also the fact it was put into "story form" makes me wonder if that was my nudge to hear the story from my grandpa that day to place the other car accident in it. I feel like because of the emphasis that "everyone is fine now" points to the fact it won't be a deadly accident. My grandma's dream would somewhat confirm this (I've had dreams that were similar to some of hers before). Also the final fact of the other people in the car with my grandparents on that last accident makes me wonder if this dream/premonition is all about the woman that was with them in that other minor accident (along with the fact she called my grandma last week and had her own dream).

It hasn't happened yet, and honestly it scares me a bit. I don't want to see anyone hurt, but I really really question it. It really felt like one of my "premonition puzzles" I've had before. I woke up wanting to write down every little detail like I knew it was going to happen, but I wasn't sure WHAT was going to happen. Heck it might not happen at all, but that dream was weighing heavy on my mind.
