Help with Dreams & Dream Meanings

I always think you should go with your first instinct on a dream. Usually it's pretty close to what you think it is. Now see the star/alien dream I would have guessed as something completely different, but the way you explain it seems right as well. As for the kids.....hmmm well were they with you that night? Dig a little deeper on that one - I think there may be some very small (but very significant) detail you are overlooking. Usually it's the little things that catch my attention and have the biggest impact. I've blown them off as some weird and unimportant detail, only to find them playing a huge roll in the meaning later on.
The first dreams you explained about you not being able to speak - you summed that one up pretty well too. I tend to agree, especailly if you agree with that fact as well (not speaking up when you know you should). There might also be some big issue in your life you are keeping quiet about that you need to come forward on as well. Sometimes our dreams are trying to push us into doing what's right for us at this point in time. |

Wow.. Thanks for your reply.. I pretty much interpet my own dreams but Im not always sure of my conclusions.. For example the dream about the stars and my kids. I did more research on it and thought about it more and the only thing I could link to my kids and the aliens were that I felt invaded by my kids..
At that time I was having a hard time adjusting to our new son and having a toddler. I felt like I never had time for myself anymore and that I had to put all my goals on hold. I was feeling selfish at the time but since then have came to terms and understood that my kids really are my life and I love them. I live for them!! This is the only thing I come up with.. lol I was more worried about he Falling stars than my kids... What did you interper from my dream? The Alien, Stars and my kids if you don't mind me asking.. Would love to know... |

That makes sense to me, since you were at a point in your life questioning your family and your choices, and also about the whole putting your goals aside (when I think "stars" I often think "dreams" as in goals - you know, "reaching the stars" or "reaching our goals" - although I've always kept in mind "aim for the moon and you'll land in the stars" as a reference for setting my own goals).
Well when I re-read the description of the dream I see you said you felt IN the dream it was a message from aliens. For some reason when I first read that I got the impression that's what you felt when you first woke up (which I still say whatever your first impression is of the dream is usually dead on). So I guess my first thoughts were not that it was a message from ailiens (my opinions on that subject are a little scattered - not that I don't believe, I just don't really study the subject all that much), but rather a message from yourself to yourself in the form of a message in the stars. Who was writing it? Well noone really. Ultimately it was YOU giving yourself that message. Which you know that's just MY opinion of it, and actually since you described that point in time in your life a little more, I guess maybe it wasn't that far off lol. I see the stars falling (you feeling like your dreams fading), you at your parents house as a kid (probably a place in time where you felt safe and sure of where you were going), and the "picture" in the stars of your kids (what you needed to focus on). Looks to me the dream has already served it's purpose if you have come to terms with your life the way it is (and trust me I've been there before too - but more along the lines of me feeling like I've "screwed up" because my kids have no father figure). But yeah, I think the dream may have been the beginning of that awareness. Or you know, it could have been about that baseball game lol. Either way, stick with what YOU think it's about and act acordingly. I honestly think some dreams aren't really meant to be "read", but rather just to make us think about current situations in our life and get us to move. ;) |
