My daughter wore a bathing suit top to school!

I have a part-time job in the morning so I am not home when the kids get ready for school.  My husband is supposed to check to make sure the kids have on a clean uniform and they have all of the pieces that go with it.

Well my 6 y/o daughter got away with wearing a hot pink bathing suit top under her uniform shirt!

When I picked her up from school it was the first thing I saw!

Needless to say, my month dropped!!!

I asked her why did she do it. She said she wanted to wear a bra like me!  WTF!!!  She said other girls at the school wear bras so she did not think it was a big deal.  Well those other girls are in 5th grade or above!  The have a reason to wear a bra!

I was so shocked I did not know what to do.  I told her from now on the only thing that goes under the uniform shirt is a WHITE tee-shirt period!

Hehe that is funny. Husbands are funny creatures. Mine always puts our kids clothes on backwards. (Or totally awful color combos.)  My daughter wants to wear bras as well. They want to be just like mommy after all!

Isn't it horrifying for the parent?!! I could so see my daughter pulling something like that!

Of course hubby did not think anything was wrong with her wearing it!

Buy her some of the tank tops undershirts they make for little girls. it will do two things one make her feel grown up and two get her used to wearing one. It really is a cute story though.

OMG this sounds just like my niece when she was little. Her mom ended up letting her wear little tanks under her shirts! LOL!

That's too cute.  It's not a big deal...she had her uniform shirt on....smile...It's a moment you will always remember and treasure...plus a  good laugh for family reunions.  These are the kinds of things that my hubby's family always bring up when they get together...he is #7 of 7 kids.

Sincerely,

Roxanne

Hahahaha sounds pretty normal to me Hahahahahaha last year my daughter wanted to wear a bra just like me as well... I bought her some sports bra's and some undershirts. She wore them daily for about a month, got bored and they sit in the drawer unused now teehee.

Thanks!  Why didn't I think of this.  I will look for some the next time we are in Wal-Mart.
