we keep it light on activities since my neighborhood has 40+ kids and my kids are outside playing all day, every day. we have a few family things planned, going to the cabin, etc. but other than that nothing. gabbi will start soccer training again in mid july, but that is year round, she trains from january to mid june, then mid july to early november, then it picks up again in january. so i don't really count that as a summer activity. they are both however expressing interest in a sleep away camp, so maybe next summer for a few weeks.

We leave tomorrow for TN......lots of fun days with family & friends, summer book club and the Library. We always go to the Newport Aquarium just before she goes back to school too. READY to have my daughter home for the summer!!!

Tabitha is scheduled for vacation bible school at two different churches (one at the beginning of summer the other at the end.  In between, we are taking a family vacation to Hawaii for two weeks.  She will also be traveling with her grandparents for a couple of weeks too.

So, it will be a busy summer.  Elaine

So far we've had a Saturday VBS, Basketball Camp last week (Tues.-Fri.- mornings). Next Tuesday his Swim Team practice starts each weekday morning. We're not doing baseball this year, thankful to do only one sport at a time. Excited about seeing him on Swim Team. He's doing Book Club at the public library and school is doing an incentive summer reading program as well. It sounds like a lot, but it's short bursts each day. We camped out indoors last night and had a blast. I love summer fun!

My DD Rylie will be going camping in August but other than that, she has all freetime. She decided she didn't want to be in softball this year again and that she wanted to be able to do what she wanted until cheerleading startsagain in November.
