I dont understand

 We dont cuss around our kids, but Dude has started cussing when he gos to other ppls houses.. I have asked him an asked him he says he doesn't know why he is doing this.. anyone else?

I think kids can and do hear it from adults and tv shows.....

 It could be TV but he could just be copying the behavior of other kids at school.

 My DD's pick up on anything we don't want them to whether we think they have heard it or not! It's a mystery but I am betting on TV, school, friends' parents, etc.

He might have picked it up from friends or tv and thinks it is cool to do

my oldest son has never cussed at all. i got very lucky. he could do it bc he doesnt think he will get in trouble if you're somewhere else
