Sometimes it seems like just yesterday that my Joshua passed away.  Other times, it's like it was forever ago.  My son Zachary is turning 9 tomorrow and that means it's been almost 9 yrs since the last time I heard Joshua's voice.  I've had some major depression in the past few months.  At times it's hard to hold things together even for my other kids.  I finally decided it was time for help.  I'm on prozac and anti-anxiety meds.  They're helping a little so far. I've been able to celebrate the birth of a new niece.  My kids birthdays are tomorrow and a week from Thursday, my 17 yr old daughter is graduating 2 weeks from yesterday.  I am actually able to be excited about the celebrations.  I don't have to pretend.  I still hurt every day---missing my son.  There will always be a big hole in my heart.
