Check out this link.  I, for one, was happy with the results of the studies done.  I know other parents will write it off or find fault with it.  Some parents will be disappointed.  My aim is to continue to educate myself and others, not to start a debate.

I wanted to quote these parts for those of you who don't have time to read the whole thing (I know how that can be!).

"What's important is if you add up all the studies, do you find greater problems from thimerosal?" And, he said that study after study has shown that thimerosal does not cause harm."

"Thimerosal has already been removed from all but one vaccine, according to Schuchat. Some versions of the influenza vaccine still contain thimerosal, though thimerosal-free versions are also available, she said.

"Parents shouldn't take a theoretical risk and elevate it above the real risk of influenza. There's nothing theoretical about the dangers of influenza," Offit explained, adding that even healthy children can be at risk of serious flu complications.

"Vaccines are safe and effective. They prevent 33,000 deaths and 14 million infections annually," Schuchat said."

I hear what your saying about not starting a debate.
These are my facts and curious as to what you think...no debate here, just what you think.
I think my going on 3 yrs old daughter is on the spectrum,
I am RH Neg B and had 5 Rhogam shots when I was pregnant.
The Doc that I take my daughter to, highly believes that the mercury that was in those shots affected my daughter and that is why she is on the spectrum.
Mind you, I tested her for mercury and she test with high levels of it.
Since then my daughter is going through Chelation to rid her body of it.

I know you're a concerned mom and you probably already have, BUT please research Chelation Therapy thoroughly before you begin!!!!

For My daughter Chelation has made a tremedous improvement on her. She is turning 3.
Her little toe fell off after bumping it on the door...Quoting my daughter after chelation" Mommy my toe is growing back, I am so excited"
"Mommy you and daddy are my family"  " Mommy I want to go to work like you and daddy"  "Mommy your pretty, I look like you"
Need I say more?
We are so happy we want to scream...

I am glad you are happy with the results.  I do agree that chelation, etc are things that you have to be very careful with and make sure the person doing it is highly educated in that area.  You, also should be highly educated in that area.  I think it is possible for children to have mercury poisoning.  And, since your daughter TESTED to have high levels of mercury in her system, that is where you should look.  BUT, I do not believe that mercucy CAUSES autism.  Remember, too, that the symptoms of mercury poisoning are almost EXACTLY the same as that of autism.  But, they can be two separate things.

At this point I'm a little less worried about the thermisal and more worried about all the other strange ingredients in those shots.
