Hi Moms-
I am interested in possibly trying my 21 month old on a dairy free/gluten free diet to see if it makes a difference.  Only catch, he is also allergic to eggs and peanuts.  Anyone have any suggestions about a cookbook/website that is really good?????

AHHHHH!!!  That is SO hard!  Evan is allergic to peanuts too.  But that is really his only food allergy.  I have a friend whose middle son was allergic to wheat, eggs, peanuts, milk and ... that may be it.  She has gotten really good at cooking and baking without all those things.  I wish she was closer to you and she could help you out!  I have no idea where to send you to start looking!  Good luck, though!  Let us know if you see any changes on the gf/cf diet.  I still haven't decided what to do with that and Evan currently only eats things that contain gluten, caesin or both!  He is dairy and wheat products only!  I am afraid he'd starve if we went gf/cf!  Maybe if I was sneaky about it...

OK, I Googled gfcf diet and here are some websites that may help!

http://www.gfcfdiet.com/  (This one says it has menus)

http://www.tacanow.org/gfcf-diet/dietinfo.htm  (Has a link for Diet Information and recipes)

http://www.autismweb.com/diet.htm (links to cookbooks!!!!! and where to find gfcf foods)

I hope that is a good start!

There's a CF.GF Diet Forum on cafemom.  I joined for awhile and got some good ideas.  Search for it and I'll see if I can find any info.  We are dairy free but decided not to go Wheat free... so I dropped the group.  But it was a helpful place while I was trying to decide.

I recently picked up The Kid-Friendly ADHD & Autism Cookbook by Compart and Laake, which is great.  It is a great resource book(tells you why you remove the food and what to expect) and doesn't focus solely on gluten and casein.  It includes a subset for kids who may be allergic to eggs, nuts or soy too.  It has some great recipes in it also.

That's great info.  Thanks!  As I said in an earlier reply, Evan is allergic to peanuts, so I may look into that book.
