That being said, does anyone have any potty-training advice? My son just turned 18 months old today, and I wanna start trying to potty-train him! My goal is to have him potty-trained by the time he is 2!

Good Luck!  My son didn't get the hang of it until he was 3. Boys are harder to train, I was told. And he was definately proof of that. I tried having him wear underwear with rubber pants, so that if he went, he would feel it.  He didn't care. It worked with my daughter. She was trained at 2.  She hated that wet feeling.  Now I am getting ready to train my baby girl (19 mo).

Good luck....my girls were SOOO easy....but him...he's 5 1/2 and still has issues with #2.  He was potty trained by 3......but not totally...i think it's a control issue.........I think he was almost 4....I was lucky that his preschool teacher was fine w/ pullups...even tho i hated them ...i felt confident that if he had an accident it would be fine...........they were always dry....I HATE pullups tho...false sense of security........He's a summer boy so when he went to preschool , he had JUST turned 3 that past july...so he was young......

I've always been told that boys are harder to train, too, but I know all kids are different...my "little brother" was potty trained by the time he was 19 months old! Plus, Chase shows great interest in the potty...he likes to watch us use it, waves "bye-bye" to the potty when we flush (lol), and he will sometimes get me a diaper when he's used the bathroom! I guess I'm just gunna have to try and be patient & consistant! Thanks for ya'lls advice! Oh, and 2boys2girls2007, how old was your son when he was potty-trained? It sounds like an interesting method...

The only way that I know of that you can create a siggy like mine is go to Privacy + Settings, go to Signatures & Copy and paste mine? Hope that helps! Or you can do it yourself, upload the picture of your choice of Aiden, and then just include the link! I'm gunna hafta check out DartLove's journals...it's pretty sad that she went to the extent of WRITING about me in her own PERSONAL journal! SHE'S the one who tried to make this group about ME! LOL...that just proves what kind of person she really is! I feel SO much better that I deleted her from this group, though, but I'm afraid that all of the drama, plus the lack of updates on Aiden, has caused our members to shy away from the group...I sure hope she hasn't corrupted other people's minds & turned them against me! Oh well...at least we won't have to worry about any more drama (hopefully)...thanks for staying faithful, ladies!
