Aiden and Xander's parents (Tina and Phillip) were not married when either of the boys were born.Legitimizing means she is trying to have Phillips last name put on the birth certificates of the children. In the state of Georgia they have to be legitimized for a father to have any rights.

In the state of Georgia, in order for you to have any grandparent's "rights" to a child, their parents have to be married. Aiden DOES have his father's last name, but Xander does NOT, because Phillip wasn't able to sign his birth certificate. So, it's hard to explain the word, "legitimize" in this case. Basicaly, Joyce is just trying to have an oppertunity to get custody of the boys...

I'm not quite sure...there was a point in time where me & Joyce didn't communicate anymore, but we are just now starting to talk again, so, you would have to ask her or Starlight. I think that she just doesn't want Steve to have the boys, so now she is trying to get custody of them, but again, I don't know that for a fact. That's just from my understanding...

I didn't know that Aiden's baby brother's name had been released. When was it released and what is his full name?  Did Tina name him, or did another family member?

Baby Richards also known as Xander (or Keyton?) Michael Richards, was seen visiting his Grandpa Steve today at a library in Springfield. I was (anonymously) told that he is VERY cute, he looks JUST like Aiden, short, dark brown hair but with blue/grey eyes, & he will be 4 months old on July 3rd! His "foster parents" seem to be taking great care of him! They are a young married couple, in their early 20's and are extremely nice! They let an "Aiden Supporter" see him!

POSTED ON THE ORIGINAL AIDEN'S PAGE:

Aiden & Baby Xander (Tina is the one who chose his name on the birth certificate) are NOT in the same home. Aiden is with foster parents who have medical backgrounds, due to the severity of his condition. He still needs someone to feed him, he still can not hold his head up on his own, he can not move his arms & hold things in his hands, and he can not (stand) walk or see. Yes, he IS indeed, blind. He is undergoing therapy & needs lots of prayers, so please, continue praying for these boys!

I just wanted to ful-fill everyone's curiosity & concern for the boys, and let them know that they seem to be doing well...*PLEASE PRAY FOR AIDEN'S FULL RECOVERY & THAT THEY WILL BE TOGETHER SOON!*

This is the post that let us know that information.. It's a sticky at the top of the forum... called LATEST UPDATE..
