Baby Aiden's father headed to trial
SPRINGFIELD, GA (WTOC) - A trial date has been set for the father of Baby Aiden, the toddler who was severely beaten by his mother, Tina Richards, last January.
Aiden's father Phillip Waller is charged with cruelty to a child. Police say Waller knew about the abuse but didn't report it.
Richards is currently serving a 30 year sentence for the crime.
Today, a trial date has been set for Waller. He will go to trial in Effingham County on February

Oops! Thank you for pointing that out! It was supposed to be February 4th, but that will be the day they do jury selection, but according to Michelle Paynter (WTOC news reporter) it should only be a couple of days after that, and he will have his actual trial. I'll keep everyone posted!

Jury selected for Baby Aiden's father

The stage is set for baby Aiden's father to stand trial.
The toddler was abused last year by his mother and prosecutors say his father, Phillip Waller, knew about the abuse and didn't report it.
