OK so i grew up doing xmas and discovered Wicca in high school. ever since i have done yule with my sis and my (now) DH, and also did xmas with the rest of my family. DH doesn't really care ether way and will participate bc he knows what it means for me. this was our first holiday season away from our families. and we both were not sure what to do, LOL. so we ended up doing one gift for each of us on yule and opening the rest in the xmas way we grew up it. we felt like we needed to wait until xmas, because the gifts that were mailed to us by family were meant for xmas. my DH doesn't follow any religion and to him it is just a family time, he doesn't care what we do as long as we are together. OK so my question is,i don't really believe in xmas (not sure how to word this to not offend any one), but i have always done the whole xmas thing, but now that I'm on my own idk what to do, and dh doesn't care. I also truly believe in letting my child choose to believe whatever he wants (religion, when he is old enough). what would you do?
