Hi! I am so glad to find some like-minded mamas on this site :) Thank you all for joining and I look forward to learning about the ways we raise our kids to respect the earth and the seasons and themselves!
I was raised finding fairies in the forest, putting aloe on my burns, celebrating the change of seasons, drinking chamomile tea for my tummy aches, and finding blessings when I need them. I led a more openly magical adolescence and now a subtle natural parenting, personally spiritual adulthood. Although as my baby grows, I yearn to teach him more about the earth and her magical ways, the universe, gods and goddesses, spirits in the trees, the power of the elements, etc....

I haven't posted rules, since I try not to be to strict, ignorant, etc., but I will not tolerate any negative comments belittling or bashing of others (not that I expect them with our members, but you never know who may choose to join...)

Please introduce yourself upon joining the group, tell us what you feel comfortable with regarding your background, children, etc.

  • Ok, Hi ya'll im Heather. I have a boy who will be 5 in Feb. (17th to be exact) and my youngest is 6 months he was born (June) Friday 13th. I have had a long hard life. Im actively seeking my path. I want the best for my sons. I was raised by christian ppl. Im not judgemental. I have been judged too many times. I felt fear in christian churches (all but the one i go too). I am not coming out because my granny is so close to her death bed and she thinks the bible is the final word. I dont want to upset her this close. I want my boys to experience what I have felt with the Fae and magick its soothing almost. None of the fear I felt under God. I do believe in Jesus the Christ and follow his ways. I also believe that he was the first true pagan...Christians try to excuse the magick but if we reread back thru the bible where he created "miracles" i believe they were the first true magick......Sorry Im getting off of the path i started. I have had a long wk. so sorry. But Im hoping to learn here in hopes of helping my young ones learn. Thanks for your time. Your Sister in Magick Heather.

  • Quoting LaMereBoheme:

Hi, I'm Cat. I am 47 (almost) and have four kids. Two are teen sons, 16 and 13, from my first marriage and two are littler ones, 5 yo ds with Down Syndrome and 3 yo dd, from present marriage.

I am a somewhat eccentric Christian (or so I am told and I believe it to be true) cus my style of worship is more Celtic or Contemplative or Narnian than what I have encountered thus far. I am definitely a born-again and sold out for Christ but I often feel the baby went out with the bathwater when many affirming rituals and such were forbidden.

Hi again...this was me under a previous personal page. My current CM personal ID is actually Bohemi-mom and I have a few posts in this group as such.

I created this latest ID in order to separate personal groups from ones focussed on my daughter and homeschooling.

  • Dena and Caroline! Great to have you aboard here in the 'Circle! I hope we can help to provide you some support as you continue on your magical parenting journey.

Dena, my mom was raised Jewish but very nature minded and she finds a lot of similarities and open nature acceptance when she looks.... I hope you'll be able to see that as your son learns and grows.

Caroline, sounds like you're doing great with your sons- does your homeschooling contain bits of spiritual wisdom as well? I'll bet it is a great atmosphere to learn grow and thrive in.

    Blessings to you!!

  • Hello! I am happy to have found this group. I am in the begining stages of learning about Paganism and feel I finally belong in my faith. I am very excited to read over all the pages in your group! I have a DD2 and am TTC #2 with my other half. We plan to marry someday and I would love it to be a simple ceremony outside! I hope to pass all I learn on to my children and share it with my SO. Have a great day!

  • i am a 24 yr old army wife, i currently live in fort Bragg NC (originally from ca). i have a 10 month old son named Daniel, who is the best blessing i have ever received. i have been with my husband for 7 years, married for almost 2, but i truly believe he is my soul mate. my husband does not have the same spiritual beliefs as i do but supports me 100%! i am still (and always) learning, about wicca. my younger sister was really my mentor before i moved (i moved in dec of 08). i recently discovered that fort Bragg has an open circle but has not had the opportunity to go yet. i plan on teaching my son to respect this wonderful world and all of its blessings, and i will teach him as much as i can. i do believe in freedom of choice and will let him decide what he believes and hope that he finds something that he will be happy with when he grows up.

        Blessed Be
