All for the Honor and Glory of Gaia

And for the poor souls waiting to be reborn. 

When I was a kid and had to preform some mundane, icky task, my Catholic mother would tell me to "Offer it up All for the Honor and Glory of God and for the poor souls in Purgatory."

Well, yesterday afternoon as I was turning Compost (a very hard, mundane, icky task) I thought about the Lady Gaia, Mother Earth, and why I was composting.  For Her.  To give back to Her as She has given so much to me.  To us.  She gives us all these beautiful veggies, and trees with their golden leaves...these bits and scraps going into the compost bin with cut grass.  Compost is my gift back to Gaia.  I give it back to Her and she with her magick decomposition turns it back into rich, nutritious soil...used to grow more wonderful veggies! 

So as I was turning the compost I decided to take something from my old religion and revamp it for my current one.  So I offered it up...

All for the Honor and Glory of Gaia

And for the poor souls waiting to be reborn.
